A Positive Self Image leads to success. Studying the martial arts is an excellent way to develop and enhance your self-image and create a rewarding sense of pride. This motivating force of self-confidence will drive you to accomplish your goals.
Students develop the Courage to Overcome Fear. Black Belts possess courage. Courage is a characteristic of winners. It is a measure of your heart, desire, and inner strength. Courage will keep you from being intimidated by the prospect of failure. Fear is a part of life, but it can drive you to perform better if you have the courage to face it.
Student learn to set goals and be self motivating in achieving them. A positive mental attitude will evolve. To help students achieve their goals, their progress will be assessed regularly. Achieving a Black Belt is multi-year goal. Along the way there are short term goals to advance in rank and skill level. Learning to set and achieve goals will help students become more successful in all areas of their lives.
